The conference is hosted by Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology specializing in ultra-high pure materials, E-waste recycling, silicon recovery, silicon carbide crystal growth and sensor technologies. IC-ESMA focuses on the latest advancements in semiconductor materials, including synthesis, characterization, and applications in electronics, photonics, and renewable energy.

Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) is a registered Scientific Society under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), a unique concept for the development of viable technologies in the area of materials mainly for electronics.
